New Windows

We got new windows!  I want to sing it from the rooftops!  I convinced my husband to go for it and since he is a sucker for energy efficiency he agreed!  Thank you rotting wood!  Our house is now less drafty and it looks so much more charming.  Maybe I should change the blog name to My Charming
Split-level... Nah. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I'm so jealous.... I have basically the same layout, and one of the things I hate is the super small windows.

    1. It's a big expense. Took us years and years to be able to do it, but it was worth it! You can do lots with curtains though to make them seem larger. :)

  3. Where did you get your tan and white patterned wing backed chair?

    1. I recovered an old wing back with fabric from Joanns. I saw the fabric was on clearance recently.

  4. Those new windows are truly gorgeous and really brighten up your home. I am very glad you were able to convince your husband into making the switch to new windows. They really do make for great energy efficiency, especially when the old ones begin to rot. I hope you continue to enjoy your new beautiful windows, they are a charming addition.

  7. Your split level looks like it is actually a split foyer... but you are doing a great job to beautify it!

    2. Thank you! Yeah I have seen that it is called that in some places. It just doesn't have the same ring to it. :)
